Two great reviews

Not with a Bang picked up two great reviews at Jimi Ripley's blog a short while back. The first was by the blogger herself and the second by another reader commenting on the review. Some brief excerpts:

Not with a Bang, by A. Andrew Tantia, is funny, irreverent, and poignant.[...]This is a fun read for those who enjoy comedy science fiction with an end-of-the world bang.

I really enjoyed this short story. It was very Douglas Adamsesque. I think Tantia is a gifted writer and I can honestly say that I would take another stab at one of his stories[...]I enjoyed Tantia's absurd imagination[...]All in all it was a delightful read with ear to ear grinning insanity of which I respond to so well.

Not with a Bang

Not with a Bang, my first short story, is now available free for a limited time on Smashwords.

Summary:

Fans of Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, etc. will enjoy this short comedy, in which the last two men alive happen upon an average, run of the mill, garden-variety gardenall the real estate that remains of their shattered planet. Despairing at the fact that the human race has been wiped out, and failing to see the bright side of things, i.e. that the human race has been wiped out, they elect to end their troubles once and for all, but are offered a reprieve at the last minute. Unfortunately, even a deus ex machina can only do so much...
